ELECTRONIC TRAVEL AUTHORIZATION TO Myanmar

Required documents

To apply for an eVisa it is required to be in possession of:

  • a valid passport, issued by one of the eligible countries;
  • an e-mail address;
  • a credit card, or a possibility of completing your application with payment with one of the many available electronic payment methods.

To complete an application you are required to attach the following documents, accordingly to the selected purpose of stay:

Tourist eVisa

  • A photograph of an applicant

Business eVisa

  • A photograph of an applicant
  • An invitation letter issued by a company located in Myanmar
  • Certificate of company registration from Myanmar

Requirements on arrival

Once the Myanmar government grants your eVisa, it will be sent to the email address provided in the application form. Once you receive the approved document, you are obliged to print it out, and carry with you to the airport. Once you arrive in Myanmar your passport and eVisa will be verified by customs officials at the airport.

The visa will remain valid for three months from the issuance date. In other words, you are entitled to enter Myanmar the latest on the last day of your eVisa validity and stay there for a maximum period of 28 days as a tourist or for 70 days as a business visitor.
